Asia Pacific Youth Forum’s Site Visit at WEPCO

On 3rd October, 2013, 45 participants from Asia Pacific Youth Forum, ICIMOD, visited the Training and Demonstration (T&D) site of at WEPCO. Mrs. Bishnu Thakali, President of WEPCO facilitated them regarding the history to the current situation of waste management. She also described the establishment of WEPCO and its works. Mr. Om Bam Malla, Program Officer of WEPCO described each of the sites at WEPCO to the participants. The participants actively participated with lots of queries in this site visit tour. After the Visit all the participants with WEPCO employees had a group photo and registration with comments and suggestion.
